God Will Do For You What You Do For Others

11/10

Hello Beloved,

Did you know that God will do for you what you make happen for others! From the very foundation of the universe, God established laws that could never be broken. One of those governing laws is the law of sowing and reaping. This law is an avid expression of God’s own faithfulness to mankind. It is impossible for God to deny Himself, so He made it impossible for us to ever bypass the law of sowing and reaping. This is such a wonderful nugget and truth, which God has given to us. It cannot change, He does not change (Malachi 3:6).

The word sow refers to the action(s) we take when we want to make a difference in our lives or the lives of others. Seed refers to the actual path we are taking, whether it is a financial gift or a gift of service. Sowing seed is also the biblical principle of planting a seed and believing God's word through faith that it will mature into a harvest in your life.

Wow what powerful promises from God! What you sow into another person’s life God will bring it back to you! Even if you have not been asking God to do for you what you have done for others you still have the right to it. It is a law established by God, you are entitled to it, and He WILL do it!

But how does sowing seed work? Do you have to always do something for someone else or give them a tangible gift? No. There are so many other ways we can sow seeds.

We can sow a seed of forgiveness. If you have had an argument with someone close to you and really feel you are not at fault you can apologize and ask what you can do to smooth things out. Regardless of whether you are to blame or not, taking the action of apologizing is a seed you are sowing that will result in a harvest in your own life.

Maybe your family is in an unexpected financial crisis and they do not know how they will survive. Pray and find out how much God wants you to give and where you should give it. You can also sow seed and volunteer at homeless shelters, charities and churches). Sowing financial seed is one of the most powerful ways to reap a financial blessing from God.

Or maybe you or a family member is battling cancer. The best thing to do is go out and yep, you guessed it; sow some sympathy seeds. Visit hospitals, hospices, and nursing homes and pray with those people for their own healing or just be with them in their time of need. Are you starting to get the idea here?

Now are we to go around doing for others things what we want done for us? No, I am saying we are to serve others because we want to serve them, we want to love them, we want to help them.

Ephesians 6:7-8 says, “With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men: Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free.”

Give away the very thing you need the most! Why on earth would God want us to do that? Well, it's all about faith. God wants us to think about others first and believe that when we are shepherding others, He will shepherd us. Now that is a gift of receiving that is pretty awesome, huh?

When applied to prayer this law adds great strength to your prayers. One of the toughest things we can do is pray for someone else who has the same need is us. There are many reasons it can be difficult.

Often when your in need or that particular area is a struggle then it is the most difficult to pray for someone else, but if we can get over our natural apprehension then we can overcome our unbelief and begin allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through us in our toughest areas. I have seen many people on TV and other places attempt to tell people that they can sow finances into their ministry and receive a miracle.

Genesis 1:12 says, “ 12And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good.”

A biblical principle shown here is that EVERY seed reproduces after itself. If you need healing start praying for people that they would get healed. If you need more time in your day learn to give more time to others. If your children are lost start praying for other parents kids. By doing this God will cause you to reap a harvest. It may not come exactly the way you expected it, but it WILL come.

Jesus said unless a seed fall to the ground and die it bears no fruit. Jesus also said whoever wants to keep his life will loose it for my sake, but whoever looses his life for my sake will find it.

The biggest key is to not grow weary. Don’t give up! As long as we remain faithful then we can rest assured that we WILL see a harvest in due time. It is a spiritual law of God. If you don’t grow tired then you will reap a harvest. Endurance is a key to faith. Our faith must be ruthless like a pit bull. Faith has to latch onto what we believe God to do and NOT let go. Like Jacob wrestling with the angel. We must never let go because we can’t let go!

Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:7-9 )
