Is Hell Real? Is Heaven Real? Does Life Continue After Death?

Hello Beloved,

I want to talk to you from my heart today. There are several beliefs concerning heaven and hell. However, the only one that matters is the Truth, what the Bible says. I am not going to get into all the different beliefs because I want to share with you a few experiences I and others have had on what happens when we die.

Is there life after death?

When I was 15 years of age, I was raped. The rapist smothered me during the act until I stopped breathing. I don’t know how long it was, or what was happening but I was going further and further upwards in the air. I later realized that my spirit left my body. I was in the air looking down at the rapist on top of my body doing his thing. I could feel no pain, it all felt serene is the only word I know to describe it. I could see and I could hear. I don’t know how long it was before the rapist removed his hand but I saw him shake me and yell at me to get up and I returned to my body. He did not leave me there, but drove me to a nearby church and dropped me off. I sat there on those church steps crying and praying try to wrap my mind around what had just happened.

Beloved I died that day but a Loving God was merciful and allowed me to live because He has a purpose for my life. Every time I think of this experience, I get so overwhelmed and feel an urgency to let others know that life goes on after death.

You have probably heard similar stories where people say they went to heaven or hell. I did not see hell or heaven that time. I believe since I was going up and felt unexplainable peace I was on my way to heaven. I had given my life to the Lord at the age of 12, so I believe this is the case. One thing I learned from that experience is that physical death is only the end of this life on earth, your spirit does live on, it does not die.

I did not know when I woke up that morning that I would die and you don’t know when, where or how death will come for you.

“There is no man that hath power over the spirit to retain the spirit; neither hath he power in the day of death: and there is no discharge in that war; neither shall wickedness deliver those that are given to it.” - Ecclesiastes 8:8 KJV

I was a teenager when this happened and I cannot tell you that I was living a sold out life for the Lord. I say this because I want you to know that salvation does not depend on your good deeds, the difference that day was that I had accepted the sacrifice that Jesus made for me on the Cross earlier in life. This choice or decision determines where you spend eternity.

We make the choice to go to hell!

I was working at a dialysis clinic when one of the patients died. It was the most horrifying thing I have ever seen. He was a very mean and bitter man who blamed God and everyone else that he was paralyzed and on dialysis. I remember talking to him one day when I first started working there and asked him how he became paralyzed. He just cussed me and told me to get out of his face. One of the nurses heard him and told me he broke into someone’s home and was shot in the back, yet he blamed God and everyone else for his situation.

He died that day but the ironic thing is he went out three (3) times before he was finally pronounced dead. Our Loving God was showing him mercy and give him a chance to live eternity in heaven. Each time he went out, he would come back with a horrifying look on his face screaming, “don’t let them take me!” I don’t want to go!” He was frightened and everyone could see it.

There were two Christian nurses working on him who kept trying to get him to call on the name of Jesus and he just would not do it. The third time he came back one of the nurses said, “you don’t have to go to hell, you can go to heaven, just believe on Jesus, confess He is Lord. He said, “I don’t want anything to do with your God” Those were his last words. He died with the most horrifying look on his face. I hate to say it but I do not expect to see him in heaven. He rejected Christ with his dying words.

I was asked the question by a minister was this man half-delusional or in his correct frame of mind when he was going in and out. I will say this I knew him for two years and he was mean and bitter but he was in his right mind. The Bible says in Psalm 10:4 "The wicked one in the pride of his countenance will not seek, inquire for, and yearn for God; all his thoughts are that there is no God [so He never punishes].

I watched my mother die in 2010. I watched her go in and out also but this experience was like night and day from this young man. There was peace, she was at rest and smiling. Each time she came back, I would see a tear come down her face. She looked as if she was talking to someone, but in the direction she was speaking, no one was there. I believe she was either speaking to angel or to God asking for time to say goodbye to all of her children. All of us were there except my youngest sister who worked as a CNA and could not leave her patient alone. She had to wait until someone came to relieve her. About 10 minutes after my sister arrived, she hugged my mom and we all could see and hear my mother say, “Ok I am ready” and she breathed her last breath. My mother accepted the Lord years ago. She was not perfect either, but she did her best to live a life for God.

I watched my dad die also. All of his life that I knew him he was like this young man, very mean and bitter. I prayed for years for God to save my dad and he did. Not long before he died, he accepted Christ. I did not know it until the day he died. I lived in Georgia at the time and got a phone call from my uncle. My kids and I hit the road to drive down to Miami. I prayed in the spirit practically all the way there asking God to let me say goodbye to my dad. When I arrived to the hospital, my dad smiled and said, “Hey what are you doing here?” I replied I came to see you. Why haven’t you told me that you were so sick?” As he was speaking, God allowed me to see in the spirit realm and I could see a ring of light around my dad’s head.

He kept smiling and said, “I know they told you I am dying. I am not dying I am going home to be with Jesus”. Oh my goodness, I am telling you those were the sweetest words I ever heard in my life. I am so grateful to God for allowing me to know that He was taking my dad home to be with him. These words confirmed to me that God is faithful. Halleluiah He had answered my prayer. This was another peaceful death!

I am not sharing any of this to frighten you. I am sharing because I love you and God loves you. I know don’t know you but I love you anyway. I know this may sound a little strange to hear a person whom you do not know say they love you. But it’s true. My desire for you is the same as God’s, that you spend eternity with Him. One of the reasons God did not take me home years ago was so that I can tell you that He is real. Jesus loves you too. It doesn’t matter what you have heard or done. All that matters is that you believe that He is real. That He died on the cross with your sin, past present and future that you might be saved and live eternal life with God and not in hell.

God's Abundant Love

A few years later as a single parent I was going through a very hard time. I was having trouble sleeping one night so I got up and started praying in the Spirit (in tongues) and cried out to God. Suddenly I could sense several angels in my room before I fell off to sleep. As I slept, I could hear those angels singing the most beautiful songs I had ever heard and they sang all night. I woke up the next morning totally refreshed and feeling so much peace. Again, I really cannot put into words the peace I felt.

The angels of God sang to me during the night for more than a week. “Glory to God”, “Hosanna, Jesus loves you” are some of the words I heard in the songs. I have never heard such beautiful music nor have I ever slept so peaceful in life. Well I got through that ordeal because God loves me and Jesus felt my pain and comforted me.

God Wants To Bless You

A few years ago, I had a dream where I was in heaven. I remember walking with a man whom I believe was the Lord Jesus, only he appeared to be in spirit form not human. We went to through several areas and I saw several things. I cannot remember the details yet but I do remember very clearly seeing several very large rooms that were filled wall to wall with gifts. We got to one room and I could see that names were on the gifts, some of the names I knew.

I said, “what is this place?” The spirit man replied, “these are the gifts for the people on earth”. I tried to run and get some so I could take them back to the people I knew. He shouted “No! They have to come and get their own.” Then he told me to tell them about the room, He told me to tell them what I had seen. Tell them how much He loves them and wants to bless them.

I want you know I did exactly that. The next time I went to church the Pastor allowed me to give my testimony. I remember being so excited when I told the congregation my testimony. Yet as I was telling them, I could see the unbelief in their eyes that they did not believe me. I got the same response I had gotten when I told the testimony of the angels singing to me during the night. I was so saddened because of the unbelief. I heard Jesus say, “yes it is very sad, but keep speaking”. One person believed what I told them and exercised their faith and that family began to receive unbelievable miracles. There is so much I want to say regarding that dream but I can’t right now but I pray that God opens they eyes of your understanding and I will say what Jesus said in Matthew 9:29, according to your faith be it unto you.

God Wants To Heal You

I was on the intercessory team at my church and we had gotten a request to pray for a man whom the doctors did not expect to make it through the night. We were all gathered praying in the Spirit and suddenly I had a vision of a man whom I believe was the Lord Jesus Christ. I did not see his face but He appeared to be in spirit form not human, standing at the bedside of a man who was in a hospital hooked up to tubes and a breathing machine. The spirit man took his hand starting at the sick man's head and moved it down over his body and the man sat up.

After we were done praying I told the group what I had seen and described the man I saw in the bed. We all rejoiced and believed the vision was from God confirming the man we had been praying for was healed and he would live. Before we left we told our Pastor of the vision and I described the man to him since he personally knew the man and he said, yes that sounds just like him and started rejoicing. A couple of days later our Pastor told us that indeed the man was up, talking and feeling better and his prognosis had amazed the doctors. They are calling it a miracle.

Beloved, God is alive and well and moves in miraculous ways on behalf of His children. Will you give Him a chance to move on your behalf?

No other can God keep you out of hell or get you into Heaven. Believing that Jesus existed or that he was a great man or prophet WILL NOT KEEP YOU OUT OF HELL or get you into Heaven. No other can God can heal your body or help you in your time of need. No other God! There is no other way to get to heaven except believing and putting your faith in the sacrifice Christ made on the Cross to pay the penalty for man's sins. Don't let the lies of Satan steal eternity from you and don't you give it up either.

There are two possible eternities; one spent with the Lord or total separation from God spent in hell.

The Apostle John talks about Judgment in the Book of Revelation.

“I saw a Great White Throne and the One Enthroned. Nothing could stand before or against the Presence, nothing in Heaven, nothing on earth. And then I saw all the dead, great and small, standing there—before the Throne! And books were opened. Then another book was opened: the Book of Life. The dead were judged by what was written in the books; by the way they had lived. Sea released its dead, Death and Hell turned in their dead. Each man and woman was judged by the way he or she had lived. Then Death and Hell were hurled into Lake Fire. This is the second death—Lake Fire. Anyone whose name was not found inscribed in the Book of Life was hurled into Lake Fire. Revelation 20:13-15 (The Message)

The scripture says anyone not found written in the Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire for eternity!

In Luke 16:22-31 Jesus tells the story of a man who died and did not go to heaven and how he pleaded with Abraham to allow someone on earth to go and tell his loved ones about hell so that they don't follow him there. Here is the story:

“Then he died, this poor man, and was taken up by the angels to the lap of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried. In hell and in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham in the distance and Lazarus in his lap. He called out, 'Father Abraham, mercy! Have mercy! Send Lazarus to dip his finger in water to cool my tongue. I'm in agony in this fire.'

But Abraham said, 'Child, remember that in your lifetime you got the good things and Lazarus the bad things. It's not like that here. Here he's consoled and you're tormented. Besides, in all these matters there is a huge chasm set between us so that no one can go from us to you even if he wanted to, nor can anyone cross over from you to us.'

The rich man said, 'Then let me ask you, Father: Send him to the house of my father where I have five brothers, so he can tell them the score and warn them so they won't end up here in this place of torment.'

Abraham answered, 'They have Moses and the Prophets to tell them the score. Let them listen to them.'

I know, Father Abraham,' he said, 'but they're not listening. If someone came back to them from the dead, they would change their ways.'

"Abraham replied, 'If they won't listen to Moses and the Prophets, they're not going to be convinced by someone who rises from the dead.'” - Luke 16:22-31 (The Message)

You might say this is all sensationalism but think about it. Judge the fruit of what is said. Pray and seek God. I will say concerning my testimony, there is nothing for me to gain. This website is not here for sensationalism or for my glory. It exists because I love you and I want to meet you one day in heaven. Jesus loves you! I pray that in your heart you will believe that. It is not about fear, it is about love, the love of God, the love of Jesus to go to the cross and endure such torment that you might be saved.

And above all else be brave enough to share this page with anyone and everyone that you love.

Time is shorter than we think! Jesus is coming soon! Please be ready and tell everyone you know to be ready. There is no second chance after the last breath here on earth.
